VOICE ACTING CASTING CALL - 'Blue and Yellow Devils' Proof of Concept Film Looking for 3 voice actors for a proof-of-concept film about grief and acceptance after a loved one's death. The casting will take place online, remotely, through Zoom on Friday 26th of March at 13:00PM. Dates can be added if you cannot make it. You will be required to send a recording sample based on a specific monologue for pre-screening BEFOREHAND. See Contact Details to get in touch. This is unfortunately UNPAID work, but you will be credited and will receive a digital copy of the final project. There is potential prospect of filming this as a short film later this year where expenses and travel will be fully covered. Characters breakdown: - THE DAUGHTER (20-35s) is a caring, loving individual. When her father died, she took it upon herself to take care of her grieving mother, not allowing herself time to grieve properly. When her mother continuously refuses to accept her father's death, she reaches her limit and tries to make her understand in a bolder, straight forward way. - THE MOTHER (40-65s) was deeply in love with her husband. When he passed away, she refused to accept it and to move on. She continues to act as if he were still alive in order to preserve herself, to survive, and to overcome her sadness. - THE BROTHER (20-30s) is a self-absorbed individual who very rarely involves himself in family matters. He became even more distant when his father died, and although he loves his family, he is unable to help them grieve. Filming details: Wanting to film in April with a few meetings and rehearsals beforehand. The filming in itself will be quite easy, will happen over Zoom, and will consist of recording your own voice. Your visual appearance does not matter for this project.
